The useful number is your total cost for a suitable, clearly described plan. Compare the clinic quote, required stay, travel, follow-up and service fees together. Keep unquoted items marked unknown; a package price is only one part of the decision.
A personal quote beats a country average
Prices vary with the surgeon and proposed treatment. An online country average cannot tell you what your own assessed plan will cost. Ask for an itemized quote in the clinic's billing currency, its validity period and the conditions that could change it.
Keep a flat procedure fee distinct from a per-graft quote. If the graft count is provisional, ask what happens to the final bill after examination. Clarify whether consultation, tests, medicines, tax and scheduled aftercare are included.

Put every cost on the same page
- Clinical: assessment, procedure, tests, medicines and planned follow-up.
- Trip: flight or award taxes, checked baggage if needed, the full required hotel stay, transfers and meals.
- Coordination: Hairline Desk's separate $499 service fee, if purchased.
- Flexibility: changed flights, extra nights, a travel companion and time away from work.
- Contingency: clarify possible extra care and insurance exclusions; a reserve is not a guarantee that costs are covered.
An example of the arithmetic
These are invented planning amounts in USD, not a clinic quote or a destination price guide. They show why a $3,500 headline is not the same as a $3,500 trip.
| Illustrative item | USD |
|---|---|
| Procedure | $3,500 |
| Flights | $800 |
| Required stay | $450 |
| Local transport | $150 |
| Meals and planning reserve | $250 |
| Concierge service | $499 |
| Illustrative total | $5,649 |
Using points? Keep two totals
Show cash due and points or miles used separately. Award taxes, carrier surcharges and change conditions can still matter. Check seats for both directions before treating a points itinerary as available.
Compare a nearby U.S. option with international options after adding these costs. A higher treatment quote can be competitive if it avoids flights, a long stay or return travel. The better value is the documented plan that fits you, not the smallest advertised number.
What we put in your comparison
We request the itemized price, named surgeon, required stay and date availability, then separate known costs from open questions. You can see what the offer includes and what still needs confirmation before choosing. You pay treatment and travel providers directly.
